We will be hiring teachers who love children. It will be equally important that they love what they know and love teaching it. They will be content masters who demonstrate curiosity and a desire to continue to grow in their own knowledge. Teachers must also be of strong faith in order to guide students.

- We will learn about human nature through study of the great books, philosophy, and the liberal arts and sciences.
- We will learn about the natural order through the study of math and science.
- History will help us to understand the unfolding human story.
- Latin instruction will provide solid grounding in grammar and language.
- We will study Scripture, church history and the Christian apologetics.

Our curriculum will be different
Each morning children will be greeted by faculty and staff and all will gather to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, say a prayer, and listen to a piece of Scripture, poetry, or prose memorized by a student. Each week students, faculty, and staff will attend a chapel service.
Wing Classical Academy will be a place of order, honor, joy, and discipline. Our behavioral expectations for students, faculty, staff, and parents will be based on respect of others and ourselves.

To build an excellent school means retaining excellent teachers. We will keep teachers and the classroom as the central focus of our school. Teachers must have the time and resources to teach. The School Board will keep faculty needs and development as our top priority. This means keeping the Board focused on: problem solving, resource acquisition and distribution, providing appropriate professional development, and providing recognition and rewards.
